Training

The development of capacities is a key aspect of the institutional approach of Ciudad Saludable, since without the existence of local capacities it is impossible to think of sustainable development in the management of the environment, both in the public and private sector. The training services are developed on the specific demand of a client or initiated by Ciudad Saludable when it feels that the society needs an innovation in some specific field of environmental administration and/or social development. Once identified the necessary competencies the respective organizational positions are identified, Ciudad Saludable sets out the knowledge and abilities the person in this position should possess.

Later on a methodological process is designed to secure that the participants learn from an adult education focus. For the versatility of the strategy we develop services considering diverse modalities: face-to-face or virtual learning (Internet), concentrated or extended learning, formal or informal learning. The team in charge of the training activities has extensive experience and formation in the fields required by the participants or the corporate clients. Strategic alliances have been established between Ciudad Saludable and top level academic organizations to assure creditworthy certification of the learning of the participants.
