San Marcos y Chavin

Being worried about the situation of the environment in San Marcos and Chavín and considering the importance of tourism in these regions, the Ancash Asociation (an foundation founded by Antamina) approached Ciudad Saludable to do a solid waste management project similar to the project in Carhuaz. An integral plan on how to manage solid waste was developed for both cities and a new sanitary anvil constructed. Currently the project is in an early stage of the process.
