In Lima Ciudad Saludable is working in the intervention program called PROPOLI. To successfully implement this program an alliance was formed between Ciudad Saludable, IPES and OACA (two other NGOs, working in the same field as Ciudad Saludable). The alliance is in charge of evaluating the institutional capacity of the municipalities in 10 districts in Lima to develop an adequate integral plan on the environmental management of solid waste and to provide help, training and consultancy where necessary. The respective districts are Ventanilla, Puente Piedra, Comas, San Juan de Lurigancho, Ate Vitarte, Lurín, San Juan de Miraflores, Villa María del Triunfo, Villa El Salvador and Pachacamac.
