Environmental solid waste management in the cities of Huarmey and Chasquitambo
Goal: Converting Huarmey and Chaquitambo into healthy cities, by introducing an environmental solid waste management system.

Proposal: Enhancing the capacity of the local governments, public and private institutions and social organizations in the management of solid waste. Thereby contributing to a reduction in the contamination of the earth, water and air, and to more healthy living environment for the population.

- Result 1: The actions prioritized in the PIGARS (Integral plan of environmental management of solid waste) are being implemented
- Result 2: A large part of the respective population are separating the waste they generate.
- Result 3: The recollection of separated and non separated was is realized in an orderly manner.
- Result 4: The final disposition of the solid waste is realized in an adequate place without causing contamination to the environment.
- Result 5: A more environmentally aware and responsible population.
- Result 6: A reduction in the contamination by the restructured municipal disposal area.
